Details of our next gathering are as follows. More info will follow in the New Year but we thought guys would like to put in the diary now.

 

VENUE :     Beadnell Bay(North Northumberland)

DATE:         Saturday 16th January 2010

TIMES:        10am - 2pm

 

We will spend time in and around Beadnell Harbour with special reminiscing about St Ebba who's old ruins are situated at the harbour. We will also roam the big dunes and along the beach. As usual we will walk, talk, drum, drink coffee and eat (probably at the Craster Arms in Beadnell, food is good and decent meals between £6 and £10). You can come to all or some of it if suits. Lifts or car share may be available from the Newcastle/ Durham area and further North if necessary so don't let that be an excuse. let us know if you plan to come and if you need a lift or are happy to offer a lift.

 

You will need to bring warm waterproof clothing, good shoes or boots and a bit of loose change in case we buy food. also, if you have a drum or similar bring it but we will have spares.

 

please make the tentative step to come if it would be your first or second time, so far we have had 30 or so guys to the different gatherings, averaging 7 or 8 and it changes each time, it's not exclusive, you don't need to be a particular 'type' - just a bloke.
